The camera flashes to an empty gym. Different scenes from the gym flash up. Workout equipment, free weights, Benches, a boxing or wrestling rings. Very little light. A corner is shown with a man sitting on a bench.

VO: Growing up I didn’t have anyone to show me the ropes.

We see the figure jumping rope and shadow boxing.

VO: My parents didn’t know I yearned to be in this business.

The scene cuts to the individual leaning on the ropes in the ring.

VO: My older brother had become immersed in the industry. My parents told me no. He was hardcore.

We see flashback video of a dark skinned man hitting people with chairs and ladders and trash cans as well as taking shots himself.

VO: When I was 13…

There is a pause in the voice over as scenes of flashing lights and a car accident flash on the screen.

VO continuing: My parents, our parents were taken from us. That’s when my brother took me in.

We see the figure sparring with someone in the ring. Punches being thrown by the figure as well as headlock takeovers and more.

VO: He showed me how to be hardcore.

More scenes come up of the man before in hardcore matches and end with him holding up a hardcore championship.

VO: But things have changed.

We see the figure nailing massive punches and kicks to a punching bag.

VO: No more extreme violence. They want elite.

We see him in the ring again with his sparring partner. He nails a suplex then starts climbing the ropes.

VO: They want you to find other ways to define extreme.

We see the figure reach the top rope.
